LaserLock Technologies, Inc., a provider of state-of-the-art authentication solutions to governments, health care providers, high-end retailers and the gaming industry, today announced it has formed an exclusive, worldwide, strategic partnership with American Banknote Corporation ("ABnote"), a leading global provider of identification solutions and services since 1795. Their products include driver's license, national ID cards, passports, debit and credit cards, smart cards and postage stamps.

The agreement provides ABnote with exclusive, global distribution rights of LaserLock's SecureLight™ security ink in their existing markets. SecureLight is a unique security technology that instantly changes colour under different lighting conditions. It allows immediate authentication with no external device and can be seamlessly integrated into all of ABnote's existing products.

"This marks an important milestone in LaserLock's history," said Neil Alpert, President of LaserLock Technologies. "It allows us to partner with the worldwide leader in plastic card manufacturing and secure documents and together we will be able to create added value for both of our companies and our clients."

"We believe this technology is a winner. It is simple to use and is a more economical and secure alternative to traditional anti-counterfeiting technologies," said Keith Goldstein, Chief Executive Officer of ABnote North America. "Our company dates back to Paul Revere and the founding of the United States, and the key to our centuries of success has always been continuous innovation. SecureLight™ is, without a doubt, the kind of innovation that we believe will bring added value to our clients."

The initial partnership will give ABnote exclusive distribution of SecureLight for two years in all the markets that ABnote serves, with some limited, defined exceptions. This agreement gives LaserLock global reach in the plastic card and paper industries.
