"Premium wines are regularly targeted for deception crime. Producers counter this with technology like our Bubble Seal™," declared Franck Bourrières, Director Marketing and Sales at Prooftag. "With the confidence that we grant Bilton Wines, Prooftag positions itself as a reference supplier of anti-counterfeit solutions perfect for new wine producing regions like South Africa or Chile," Franck Bourrières concluded.
The Bilton vineyards lie nestled at the foothills of the beautiful Helderberg Mountains, Stellenbosch, where they have been nourished by deep, rich soil and cooled by fresh ocean breezes blowing in which provide ideal, cool conditions for grapes to ripen slowly and develop an abundance of flavour.
Blessed with arguably the best ‘terroir¹’ in the country, they use only the best grapes to produce their ultra premium wines that are made in an old-world-style that reflects the distinctive character of the region.
¹The French term "terroir" means "the sense of place". It is the sense of the origin of the food, characteristics that come from the soil, climate and genetics.
